Adam's sister Claire & her husband Michael and their little girl Abby came to visit us over Memorial Day Weekend. They were on their way to Texas, and made a stop here for a couple of days. We loved having them here!! Abby and Alina are three months apart exactly, so it is fun to watch Abby in anticipation of what Alina will be like in 3 months. They had so much fun together! Abby is obviously bigger than Alina and we all had to take turns protecting Alina from Abby's excited grabs at her face or hands; it was fun to watch them interact.
It felt so good to have family here in Albuquerque; it made it feel more like home. Adam and I get along very well with Michael and Claire, and we love being around them. We went to the Albuquerque Zoo which was great! We loved it. There were tons of baby animals including a baby giraffe that was only two days old! It was really fun to watch it walk next to its mother. Its joints were way to big for its small body so it looked really cute as it walked around. Michael and Adam enjoyed two rounds of disc golf ( they are love this game) in two different parks. We also drove up to the top of Sandia Mountain and then went for a little hike along the ridge. We had a blast, and will miss having them around all the time.
