This last weekend we took a quick trip to Phoenix to pick up a couch my Uncle Don & Aunt Janet gave us and to spend some time with my family down there. My brother David and his family just moved there to go to P.A. school down there. It was great to see them. Adam and I got up early Friday morning (we left by 4:30 a.m.) and drove to Phoenix. We forgot about the time change so we got there an hour earlier than planned. How fun!
Dave & Jess have this cute kids kitchen that Alina loved. She loved playing with her cousins Addi & Kate. We went swimming and just enjoyed visiting with them. Oh, we love being with family!
We stayed with my Uncle Don & Aunt Janet. They were so kind to us (as always) and were very generous. We loved visiting with them. One of the highlights was Saturday morning there was a family of Havalinas in their yard! After years of spreading out seed and sitting for what seemed like hours waiting for animals to come I finally saw havalinas at their house. The day before we came my Aunt Janet came home and caught a Bobcat drinking out of her pool. Even though it would have been cool to see a Bobcat I am grateful that I only saw the havalinas.
Saturday afternoon we went to my Aunt Tanya & Uncle Ron's house to work on some family history. Aunt Tanya brought out all her toys and she had all these cute hats to play with. Alina was adorable with them on.
Saturday night Uncle Don & Aunt Janet had everyone(Uncle Bill & Aunt Connie werent' able to come) over for dinner. It was great to spend time with family and it brought back a lot of good memories of being in Arizona as a child. It was a great trip, and we loved our time in Phoenix. We love our couch, and are so grateful for Uncle Don & Aunt Janet for their generosity!
